Is anyone else having trouble finding ammo? I went looking for .40S&W rounds yesterday at Bass Pro and all they had was hollow points no regular rounds. But there was maybe 6 different calibers but only about 20-30 box's of each. What is going on has this been a problem for a while? But the weird thing was the only rounds they had for hand guns where hollow points.

There is a huge ammo shortage right now with everyone buying as much as they can!

The week before last, the DoD decided to not sell their expended brass to reloading companies and that put a scare on a lot of people on top of the scare that everyone already has. The DoD thing has now been changed to anything over 50mm shells (yes 50mm not 50cal), so the companies that reload can still get 5.56, 9mm, 45 etc...

It will supposadly level out soon, the ammo companies are at capacity for prodution and supposadly expanding, and all of the people who went out and bought all they could shoot in a lifetime or two will stop buying soon, supposadly!

Good to hear. I looked at the walmart by myhouse last payday and they were out of anything useful. Only pistol ammo was.32.
