 New marker stand

I was given some PVC pipe and fittings and decided to make a marker stand, I had to buy a few fittings to finish it off but here it is:

I like this design better than all of the ones I saw online. Here is the materials list of what I used and rough plans, if anyone wants to do the same design.

(1) 10ft stick of 3/4" pvc
(5) 45* angle connectors
(4) end caps
(12) "T" connectors
(4) 90* angle connectors
Foam 3/4" pipe insolation

I recommend measuring your marker for lengths of pvc. I used just enough pvc to connect the angles and such (maybe .75" to 1") and then a few longer sections.
(4) lengths @ roughly 9"
(2) lengths @ roughly 6"
(2) lengths @ roughly 2"
(1) length @ roughly 8.5"

After it was all done I had about 2' of pvc left.



I also recommend getting a PVC pipe cutter, works real well and alot less work than a hack saw. I used red Krylon fusion to paint it.

I like the look of it but It looks like it will take up a ton of room in the gear bag.

I glued all of the joints except the 2 on the T for the barrel rest so that I can fold the barrel rest down onto the tank rest. It is a little bigger than the other designs, height wise but I don't mind that!
