My Daughters Soccer

So went to the meeting for her soccer team, Arsenal, tonight. Great program and teaches the kids fundamentals and competiveness. Also got the cost for everything..........Holy Cow!

So what I'm trying to do is find sponsors. If any of you know someone that sponsors individuals for sports could you let me know.

Here's a run down of initial costs so far, this does not include travel or tournament fees either:

Uniforms: $350
League fee: $500

Yeowsa, thats steep. I'll talk with my company, I know they used to sponsor kids and teams but not sure if its only for employees kids or not. I'll let you know what I find out.

Just found out something. If you go to Fort Collins Soccer Club and get a King Soopers refill card, tell them to put the card under Aspen Georgen, she will get 3% of what you buy from King Soopers back from them. The card is like a debit card, you put money on it, then shop with it. You refill it everytime you need to. I know most of you don't live in Fort Collins but man this would be cool if a couple of you shop there and get one. It's an initial $50 to get the card but that $50 goes straight to your card.

Do you know if I buy the pre-load card, do I have to use it in Fort Collins King Soopers or can I get it and use it in Loveland? Can I use it for gas at the King soopers pumps?

Can you load the cards at King soopers stores or do I have to go to Fort Collins soccer club every time (I know the first load you have to do at the club but what about re-loads).

If I can get the card and use it for gas that would be great, we shop at KS sometimes but its not our main grocery stop but I have one right up the street from my work that I can just get gas at when I need it.

It's at any King Soopers store in the country. Not sure about gas, I'll have to find out.

Find out about the re-load too, can you do it in store or do you have to go through the soccer club every time.

I asked my work about sponsorships too, they do some sponsoring but only for employees and their family's so no help there for you, sorry.

As far as the cards go, you can use it at any KS and you can use it at the pumps. I think the Soccer place has them preloaded at $50 for you and you go up to the Customer Service counter at KS to reload it I, it might be at the register too. I will ask Jen when she gets home, we have a couple for the Buddhist temple here in town that work the same way as Bronx described. Jen uses it for gas, preloads it on payday with the amount she needs and goes from there.

Do you know if they will work at kroger? They are the same thing as far as i know. If you could find out we might just paypal you some money to pick up a couple and mail them out.

You can refill it at any register, not sure if you can use them at a Kroger though, couldn't find anything online about it.

Got info for all of you on this. These cards can be used at any Kroger owned company. They can be used for gas and food. Cannot be used to buy lottery tickets. If you don't live in Fort Collins and want one you can send me money through paypal and I'll get it and mail it to you.

Just purchased mine over lunch, I guess I just missed you by a few when you went to get yours Bronx.

Just to be sure, Aspen will get 3% of every $ I pre-load on the card or of every purchase I make with the card. Does she get the 3% continuously if I pre load more onto the card, or does she just get the 3% off the first $50?

If she only gets the $ off the first pre-load I'll probably just use it and be done but if she gets it for every purchase I'll keep loading it and buy my gas and groceries there to support her throughout.

She gets money everytime you use it. 3% of what you spend off of the card. Thanks for the support Torrant!
