2012 ADA Step Out: Walk to stop diabetes.

Hey all,

It's that time of year again. This year they will be adding more stuff to the event as outlined in an e-mail I got:

· 10K Run!! Finally, an official run course, which will be professionally timed and well supported.

· After Party! That’s right, let’s celebrate our loved ones living with diabetes. We will have a band, food, great vendors and a beer garden J

· Costume Contest! Get creative and you might be rewarded. Categories include best team costume, individual, and dog costume.

· Trick-or-Treating! Kids will have a chance to decorate bags and trick-or-treat in the vendor area.

This year I have made our goal 5,000. Let's see if we can get our tent and bbq

Was suggested we can set something up for us all to do afterwards, maybe Elitches or something else downtown.
If you have any suggestions throw them out.

I'm sorry to say Mother that Chris and I will not be able to attend this year as planned, some things came up that make it so we can't go to the walk. Were discussing how much we can afford to donate and I'll do that before the walk. Sorry guys I really hate missing this, I had fun last year, make sure to kiss the cheerleaders for me.

I unfortunately will not be able to make it either. Little bit of an update on me I guess, lol. I was laid off a couple of weeks ago. Of course this came after buying a new car the week before! I do have a new job, but I'm working at Albertson's now, so weekend work again

Sorry to hear that you got laid off Beaver, glad you found another job so quick but still sucks.

Sorry to hear about those that can't make it. I do know your hearts were in it and that is what counts. Also sorry to hear about the layoff Chris I know how much you liked that job

Between jobs myself at the moment. I have an interview tomorrow. Maybe that means I'll have a new job soon too! Anyway, count me out.
