I really like dye. But they are too damn expensive, so I baught an SLG made by Proto which is a very temperamental gun. I'm thinking about buying an PMR or an older DM6. What should I do?

Both are good markers... i say get which ever is cheaper... but I would go PMR for parts and age of marker the DM6 has been out for a while.

For a good electro in Colorado, buy an older Ego. At this point I'd bet Ego8's are under $500.

I would say you would be good with any one of these markers, and in no particular order.

MacDev
Droid
Drone
Proto
PM7
PM8
Dye
DM7
DM8
Planet Eclipse
Ego7
Ego8
Tippmann
Phenom

I would stay away from SLG's, PMR's, Ion's and anything older than '07.
