PostSubject: dangerous power markers   October 26th 2010, 00:54

I was brousing thier website, and i noticed that there were having sales on quite a few markers on there and i wanted some info on them, difficulty to mainatain, quality, that kind of stuff. Im stuck on spyders atm, and i love my "03"imagaine but its age is showing and its hard to find a new board for it without getting a new e-grip, and my mr4 has been giving me alot of **** latly. So i figure its time to start looking for a new marker brand. On thier site atm the g4's are going for 300ish(clained to be 100 off) and fusions are 500ish(151 claimed discount) the fusion is a bit out of my price range atm, but the g4 is right there on the edge of it. Ideas?

I have never used one before but talking to people at shops with them they like them and say that they are ok to good but all the people I talk to also said they were going to get a different gone eventually... Now I have only talked to 3 or 4 people with them. So take that how you will..lol. I would say if you are in the market for a Electro marker I would look for a DM7 or PM7 or a PM6 if you want to save a few buck.. But these marker are in the 200 to 450 price range depending on what is upgraded on them(ULE Frame will add a lot to the price Virtue Board is a common up and only adds a bit to the price). I think and A LOT of other people think that these were defiantly the best Electros made for the price. I will have my PM6 (It just has a predator board and CP reg for ups so it almost stock) at the next game and you are welcome to try it out if you like and LCT has a PM7 with the ULE frame and Virture board and what ever else he has done to it now... Not sure if he will let anyone hold it after he gets it back with that nice anno..lol

Selvacin, Give me a yell before you buy a D.P. marker. I'm in the Springs and I have a G-3 Spec-r I'd be willing to let you try out before you buy one. Rowlf has an FX and Timmy has a G3 as well. I have been really impressed with the marker so far.

Well if a DP marker has you approval hooligan, thats a plus. When i meet ya at the buckaroo DMS game, you seemed like a awsome guy and the team likes you.

Im talking with that guy that has the ocean blue revi, got him down to 425 shipped with it, the slate black one seems to have been sold already. But im thinking of buying the blue one, but with the guys lack of feed back...am i allowed get a admin on PBnation to overlook it or something, make sure he is legit?

You can do a third party, where you send your money to the third party, he sends the marker to the third party. The third party will look the marker over and make sure it is as the seller say's and if all is goo will send the marker to you and the money to the seller. Third party usually cost extra cause you have to send extra shipping money and pay for the third party service. Here is a link if you want to read more about it. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2860974

If the seller wont agree to third party then walk away. That is the only safe way to do it. when they have little to no feed back.

If you have any other questions let me know. I have bought and sold a lot of stuff on the Nation.

He seems to be cooperating easily, i asked for contact info and if he had any additional info about the marker. Im about to ask him for a few cell phone pics of to finish conformation.

A couple things to check for, if he is paypal varified. (that means his address in paypal should match his current address at his bank). Also ask for a scan or picture of his drivers license this will make sure you have his full name and address. Also get his phone number and text him or talk to him, make sure he is 18 or older. Under 18 cant be held liable for fraud, if under 18 ask to talk to his parents so they have an idea what is going on. These are just things you should have to cover your butt. I have seen to many people get burned on that site, just want to make sure you get something for your hard earned money.

Play it safe and if it feels to good to be true, it is.

did all that except for the drivers licence thing, even talked to him on the phone text and talk. He says he is 18, as dose PBnation. He has proven in several ways that he owns the marker, including youtube vids of him showing how to clean that specific type of marker.

Sounds good, as long as you feel good with the transaction.
