Ok so itís been talked about on the previous thread. This is the official site for planning this out.

First thing, here is what we are doing with the money from BftB for those who have officially registered. Bronx is going to get the money back from Rowlf, we are going to take that money and use it as a base for this trip to pay for things that we will need such as the campground fee's, entry fee's to wherever we decide to play, food etc..

  • Everybody who is going on the trip needs to have paid (through pre reg) or pay in $45 per person. At the end if we have money left over we will split it up equally to all those who paid. If you have not paid and plan on attending deadline for getting in your money is April 25th.


  • If you do not want to go on this trip and have paid, you have until April 25th to contact Torrant, Wego, or Bronx to let us know and you will get your money back, otherwise it will be added to the pool with no refunds since we are planning based on head count.


  • Guests: If you plan on bringing a guest who is not playing paintball, cost will be $20 per person to cover food and expenses. Guests will not be eligible go get money back at the end if there is any left over.


  • ByoB: All drinks are the responsibility of the individual who is coming, so bring whatever you wish to drink, alcoholic or non alcoholic to the trip. We can share while were up there, but donít assume itís someone elseís responsibility to provide this for you.


  • Food: We are hoping to have enough in the pool to provide the major food items for breakfast, lunch and dinners but we have to figure out cost first. So this will be discussed later. However snacks will still be on an individual basis regardless, same as drinks we can share but donít count on someone else to provide your favorite candy bar for you.


  • Paintballs: just like at the game we will not be providing any paint you use for this, so plan on buying it at the field, or bringing it with you. Anybody who paid for paint already through pre-reg will get this money back if you ordered it through Bronx. If you ordered paint on your own through DMS it is your responsibility to recover this money from him.


There is a lot to planning something like this, so the officers will be planning it for the most part, votes just take too long for every little detail. If you want to be a part of the planning volunteer for it, otherwise decisions will be made and announced here. If there is anything that requires input from the whole team we will ask I promise. Weíre going to try and get the most bang for our buck for this so cost will be the major deciding factor for things we do.

It all looks good to me. Have we sent any invites out to other teams or Friends of the team to see if they would like to join us?

I think it would be great to get as many people in on this, plus what a great way to get to know some of the other teams better.

I'll be in and getting my money paid withing a week or so. I do have some of the same people that wanted to come to BFTB who still want to join us. I'll be working with them to get them all paid up by the 25th.

I posted up on Tunka inviting anybody who wanted to join us to contact us. I hesitate to post up to many places until we get our sites reserved so we can tell everybody where we will be at.

First things first. I recieved the refund but it will not be cleared until April 13th, then I have to transfer it to the bank account which will take another 3 to 4 days. I did get the camper!

Great about the refund and the Camper.

I think to be safe about getting the camp sites we should use team dues money to pay for them until the money clears, then pay it back into the team fund. The rest of the money we'll save until closer to the game and figure out a day to go shopping for food.

What do you guys think.

I am going to get 3 sites but I need to know what cars and campers are coming. They allow only 2 vehicles and 6 people max per site. Yes, this makes it a max of 18 people and 6 vehicles. Carpooling will be important here. Also the sites have size restrictions on vehicle lengths, with that said who else besides me is bringing something larger than just a car?

Also there is a parks pass fee which is $7 per day per vehicle. This means it will be an additional $84. On top of that we will need to shell out $10 per site for reservation.

Camp sites (3): $120
Vehicles (6): $84
Reservation: $30

Total: $234

This is why I can't fork over the cash until the money gets deposited. Our team dues barely cover half of this. You will have until this friday to give a final response to whether you are going or not and we need to see who is carpooling. The less cars the cheaper this will be. I can carpool 6 comfortably and sleep 5.

Yeow, ok the trip just got more expensive, bust still manageable. Thanks for finding out all this Bronx. I guess we'll just have to wait until the refund then.

As for myself it will just be me and I am riding with Bronx in the camper.

I updated the list of who is going as well, we have a total of 17 right now.

So we know Here is Color Splash's prices.

Field Fees


Full Day Entry with All Day Air: (includes CO2 & HPA fills up to 4500psi) $10.00 We only fill the tank on the marker, buy paint at the field, with your own marker.

Field Paint:
500 rounds (bag) - $12.50
2000 rounds (case) - $45.00

Full Day Entry with All Day Air with your paint in your marker: $20.00

Active Military, Reservist and National Guard pay no field fees at ColorSplash.
(includes entry and all day air)
Just show your military ID. Thanks for all you do!!

Every player must sign a Waiver

So we have to decide if we are all going to buy paint there, or all not going to since we are paying for the field entry out of registration fees.

Or do we want to say we will pay $10 towards fee from funds, if you want to buy your paint elsewhere you will have to make up the other $10 at the field?

I will call them and find out if we can get a group discount on anything, and let you guys know.

So I should have at least 4 people coming with me. I've already spoken to them about the camping situation, they will reserve there own spot at the camp site and take care of all of that and the fees at the field once we're there. They will most likely follow us down there, still figuring that part out. I'm down to hitch a ride with who ever, or I can take my car, will seat two comfortably with gear.

I will be driving from Texas to the camp site, so i will need to park there. I can pay extra if i need to.

I will be buying paint there and using some of my own as well. Also do we know if we are doing just colorsplash for two days or are we playing at Hooligans hole on one of the days?

Also have we heard form any of the other teams or friends of our that they will be going as well?

I am getting real excited for this.

Still waiting for word about any game at the Hole. I've posted up on Tunka about us camping and playing but until we have a definite camp site I'm not putting up to much details since we don't have them yet.

I think with the amount of people coming we might need 4 sites, here is why: (this is their rules) Campsite Occupancy Ė One camping unit with up to 6 people is allowed per campsite. A violation of this regulation may result in the visitor being required to purchase an additional campsite (if available), or the reservation may be terminated and the appropriate fees refunded. A camping unit is defined as the maximum combination of camping equipment allowed in one campsite. The allowable combinations are: One passenger vehicle and two tents; or One motorized vehicle towing a camping trailer and one tent (if space allows) If space permits, one additional passenger vehicle and/or motorcycle may be parked at a campsite.

Let me know soon. I do have the money in the account now so I am a go when we decide.

I say go for the 4 sites, better to be safe than sorry and with that many sites we wont have to worry about bothering the neighbors if we set up our canopy's in the middle of the sites.

I would say if we can get them
Northern Plains Campground, Eagle View Loops M Sites 303-306 seem to have the best view, are the most open and is in the area designated as a group campground. I'll leave it up to you though, if you see a better group of campgrounds go for it.

If you have the money back in your account, lets reserve these bitches.

Beaver if your friends are reserving their own camp site do you think they would care about reserving the campsite right next to ours witch would be Northern Plains Campground, Eagle View Loops M site 307 or 302. That would give us the entire side of that campground.
