Some of you may remember a while back me talking about a little boy who is the son of a friend of mine. He was born with Williams syndrome. For more info on the disease see: Wiki Williams syndrome.
This past week he passed away at the age of 6. I ask you all to do whatever you believe to support his family. Thank you.
Obituary:
Riddick Charles Andrews, 6, of Mead, continued his journey as an angel on September 20, 2011 at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. He was Mommies little angel baby, and Daddy’s little buddy.
He was born on December 18, 2004 to Rush and Amanda (Edgington) Andrews in Longmont, Colorado. Riddick was currently in 1st grade at Mead Elementary School.
All who came in contact with Riddick loved him greatly, and his closest friends called him “Superman”. He had thousands of friends, including the Firestone Police department that honored him in 2009 by deputizing him as a honorary officer with badge # 709. Riddick enjoyed his bike scooter, legos, superhero’s and Pirates, but most of all, he loved his brother.
Riddick is survived by his parents, a brother, Zaine Gonzales, his Grandparents, Rush (Lynda) Andrews of Upland CA. Bobbie (Ken) Allen of Long Beach, CA, and Tonja Edgington of Longmont, CO. His Aunts and Uncles, Colby (Elise) Edgington of Johnston, CO, Cade (Sarah) Edgington of Longmont, CO. Bobby ( Elizabeth) Roe of Longmont, CO, and Rushean ( Charlie) Schuhmann of Cota De Caza, CA.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Chuck Edgington, and an Aunt, Rushelle Anderson.
A visitation will be held Sunday, September 25, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Howe Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am at the Church of Latter day Saints in Frederick. Burial will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont.
